1856

1856 is the BR Mk1 buffet car that usually runs with GW2 set on the Severn Valley. In 2003 it was given a thorough overhaul at Bewdley and repainted in 1960s Western Region style chocolate and cream in keeping with the rest of the set.

Along the 1856 the GW2 set usually comprises severn GW(SVR)Association coaches:
1086, 1146, 5883, 1856, 1116, 7284, 829 and 6913.
