1667

Mk1 Kitchen Car No 1667 is undergoing a major refit in Bewdley carriage workshop. This work entails a complete rebuild of the kitchen to better suit operation on the Valley. This is a major project, some two weeks were spent just stripping the interior before any rebuilding could begin. 1667 will be finished in 1960s style Chocolate and Cream as back to GWR Dining Set.

September 2004. 1667 still in the shop with much work still to do - will come outside for internal fitting in October and be probably replaced by FO 123/3109.

April 2005. With body now complete but still in undercoat and kitchen still to fitted out.
